OK, so it wasn't horrible but LG was just off. Every little thing sent her over the edge and into tears. The screams were plentiful. She was really on my last nerve. Good thing Smiling Mom told me that I wasn't scaring her away. She promised me her kids are like this too. I believe her.
I did still have a nice time. SM and I talked between screams and crying fits. The thing about her is that she is a great friend. When I see her it is like no time has passed. She is always there to listen and give advice (good advice). For some reason, I am always the one needs advice!
It is also great to watch her with her kids because she is a great mom. She is an awesome teacher but she is an even better mom. I could learn a lot from hanging out with her. I *heart* her.
I had never been to their house and I want to move in. I love the front door. I love the floors. I love the cabinets in the play room and the computer desk. Love the backyard too. So jealous and so in love. I have already asked for the paint colors in several of her rooms. I also want one of these which she had until her dog blasted through it.
I think I want to be Smiling Mom.

This is the exact story of me and Neat Freak Mom!! Except we just became friends. But I heart her too. ANd she has the most amazing tile floors and colors in her home as well as the most awesome swingset in her backyard. Plus, she doesn't even flinch when my daughter has a full-on tantrum! SHe has 3 kids herself and she is my hero! SHe is so great with them and she has taught me how much easier it is to go with the flow instead of trying to fight a toddler! And BTW, your daughter is so incredibly CUTE!! Love her pigtails!!
Lia, you are the greatest. :-) Thanks for the great compliments. I feel the exact same about you too! Hubby told me today that the roll away screen (don't know it's actual name) is getting fixed on Monday. Yeay!!
